    Hello,
I am aware that I have an allergic condition. However, I always feel that my nose is blocked despite having very watery mucus that cannot block the nasal cavity. How is this possible? How can I avoid it?

    Hello peter2018,
Allergic conditions are usually very demoralizing and taxing. Usually, you will feel that the nasal cavity is full of mucus but it’s not. What happens is that it is inflamed blocking the airway making you feel that it’s blocked. Avoid forcing the mucus to come out since this will increase the problem and can cause nose bleeds. It is advised you take hot lemon water. Alternatively, you can take anti-inflammatory medications such as diclofenac or paracetamol. To deal with the allergy use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine
